1). After connecting AC power supply. The alarm will have beep for one time, and the LED display will show four “eights” for 3 seconds.

2). Wait 30 seconds countdown for sensor preheating, during theprocess, green light will be steady on, red and yellow lights will flash.

3). Do not apply carbon monoxide gas (hereinafter referred to as “CO”) to test during the warm-up process because the carbon monoxide gas will not be detected during the process.

4). Once warm up process finished, the detector is ready for carbon monoxide monitoring.

2, How To Use Test Functionality

The CO alarm should be tested once a week to ensure all visual and audible signals are functioning properly. Press the Test/Mute Button, the display will show four “eights” while the red and yellow lights flash, andthe alarm sounds. After about 5 seconds, it will return to monitor statusfor CO. And then put some smoke to the left up coner to test it, normally insufficient combustion produces carbon monoxide, so smoke includes CO gas.

5, What to Do in Case of Alarm
