This stuff does really well! It makes hair curl very nicely.

This is a gentle product that works very well for tangles in curly/frizzy hair. No harsh chemicals or fragrance. Also good with hair that has been dyed. Doesn't strip color. I've used it for more than a few years, off and on. But as I age I find it works even better with my hair as its a bit finer, and more likely to break.

This product is amazing. My son had such a knot in his hair. This helped detangle and define the curl really well. I'm very impressed with this product. I will def buy some more.

I've been using this for about 2 months now and it is, by far, my favorite leave in product for my curly hair! I had been using the same leave in product for years as it was the only thing I could find that made my hair shiny and made my curls behave. Even after it was discontinued I could still find it online and had stocked up. I recently depleted my supply and had searched online for a suitable replacement with no luck. I saw an article about Kinky Curly Knot Today and found it at a local store so thought I would try it. I was thrilled that I actually like it better than my old favorite!! It's creamy but not super thick and has a wonderful coconut smell! My old vaorite leave in had a slimy consistency where this is mostly creamy and just a little slimy. I put a generous amount of it in my soaking wet hair at the end of my shower, then I bend over and squeeze out the excess while scrunching up my curls. It dries nice and soft and not at all crispy or crunchy. The first time I used it I actually put it on my hair while it was just a little damp and was not happy with the results. Actually thought I didn't like the product. But, once I tried putting it on soaking wet hair, I realized I LOVE it! You can also use to to detangle knots and then rinse out if you don't use a leave in product but, if you have curly hair, you really should be using a leave in product! Since I have been using Kinky Curly Knot Today, I very rarely use a regular conditioner in my hair. I hardly ever wash my hair, something else that is good for us curly heads, so this is pretty much the only product I use in my hair on a daily basis. The ingredients are: Organic mango fruit extract, organic slippery elm, organic marshmallow root, organic lemongrass, cetyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, citric acid, phenoxyethanol and natural fragrance. This product is made in the USA, which is always a bonus as my family tries to buy as many products as we can that are made in the USA. And it is cruelty free, meaning no animal testing was done on this product. It's funny, I had been looking for a leave in product that has slippery and/or marshmallow root and didn't realize until looking at the ingredients just now that this contains both! If you have curly or wavy hair and are looking for something to get your knots out or a leave in to make your hair shiny and soft, you really should give this a try!

Amazing product that works well on hair knots and uses clean ingredients. I use this daily on my toddlers hair every morning to brush out what looks like a wild rats nest see first photo and follow up photo after use. I add this to some water in a small spray bottle then brush it out. That also gives it great value because I’ve only gone through half a bottle in a year, gifted another bottle to a friend and just ordered some more. You’ll definitely use more if you use the product directly without diluting with water. Smells good, hair stays intact until his nap but doesn’t get too crazy after that. Will continue to keep this in stock for taming my little ones hair.

Although this has been reformulated it still works. Its much easier to get out of the bottle and I prefer the lighter scent. It’s one of the few products I could find that don’t have protein. My low porosity hair loves it. Stays moisturized all week.

It’s extremely helpful for wavy hair, I use it as a conditioner and it’s the only conditioner that matches my hair type, I struggled with finding something good for my hair and this was the one! just avoid using it on scalp and overusing it on your hair/applying big amounts will cause greasiness and some shedding.
