Doesn’t seem to work for me
Plugged it in, followed the very confusing instructions for setup, got the 3 lights, aaannnnddddd, no change in signal strength for the security camera I was using this for. Didn’t seem to boost the signal strength at all. Camera Wi-Fi signal went from medium strength, to medium strength lol. No change at all. Tried plugging this in at several locations throughout my house and garage, and no boost at all to the Wi-Fi signal. Maybe it’s me, I don’t know, but didn’t seem to work and boost the signal. Instructions suck and doesn’t seem to be any support to contact. Thank goodness it was only 30 bucks. I’ll keep it just cause I’m to lazy to take it 45 minutes down the road to the ups store to return lol.

Do not buy, avoid at all costs
This does not work as advertised. I had it in the same room as my router and devices (less than 20 feet away) and was averaging about 10 mbps, and 400 while connected directly to my router from the same distance. Any further than 20 feet the device will stop working intermittently and the speeds drop from 10 to single digit mbps. Do not buy this. It will not cover the distance of a studio apartment. Your phone almost certainly works better as a wifi extender anyway. Don’t waste your time or money.

Best $30 spent
My son kept complaining his connection sucked upstairs being our router is downstairs. Purchased this. Best less than $30 spent. He got it connected and his speeds went way up. I’m not tech savvy so for someone that may be you may understand what I’m trying to say. It works over all

Impossible to connect. Useless,
This either does not work or is too difficult for someone non techy to figure out. I mistakenly thought that I could just plug this in and get better Wi-Fi coverage from my router to my downstairs TV. Apparently, you have to get all of your devices to connect to the extender and the unclear instructions they provided did not allow me to make that connection. Part of it might’ve been that this extender is not compatible with spectrum, but I don’t know enough about technology to say that with certainty. Whatever, I cannot get anything, including my phone to connect to the extender, so it was utterly ineffective for me.
